Basic Data
The Basic Data panel within PeopleSoft is divided into 4 lessons.
| Class Sections |
covers items such as the teaching location of the class section, beginning date and end date of the course, the department that owns the course, and the method used for instructing the course. |
| Class Topic |
explains the process of requesting a special course heading to appear on the transcripts of all students enrolled in the section. |
| Equivalent Course |
explains how equivalent course data is use at Southern Miss. |
| Class Attributes |
covers the different attributes that are used to identify certain types of courses such as NCATE courses and study abroad courses. |
