Information extracted from the 2000 national directory,
Where shall I go to study advertising and public
relations?
The following facts and figures
are a summation of the information generated from the 2000 Where
Shall I Go to Study Advertising and Public Relations? (36th edition),
published by AEP (Advertising Education Publications). Each fall,
AEP surveys all the known programs in the nation. Information on
the programs is requested at least three times in an effort to ensure valid
and up-to-date information.
The first year a program
does not provide an update, the previous year's information is used.
The next year, the university name remains in the book; program information
is deleted but still used in these computations. The third year the
program does not respond to the update mailings, both the listing and the
information are deleted from the directory and data computations.
The program will continue to be invited to provide updated information
each year.
Only currently updated institutions
are considered in naming largest or most rankings of institutions.
