     There were 197 colleges/universities reporting education in advertising and public relations; 101 advertising programs, 143 PR programs, and 43 combined AD/PR.  Advertising programs use the terms major (33%) or sequence (32%); PR programs use the terms sequence (32%) or major (29%); AD/PR programs use the terms major or sequence (23% each).
