Welcome to the Experimental Bioinformatics Lab at the University of Southern Mississippi.We are dedicated to using the power of both computational and experimental approaches to solve interesting biological problems.
Explosion of biological data due to several high throughput techniques , has provided a great chance and opportunity to predict the activity of unknown biological molecules.
At the first hand , we focus on using sophisticated algorithms and highend computing
environment to predict activities of biological molecules. We then pursue our research
using modern experimental techniques,to confirm our predictions.Our specialization is on Cancer and diabetes. But we are always open and looking for
interesting and challenging problems that would require computing intervention.
